About Me

Hello, and thanks for stopping by!  I’m Jenn.  I’m a twenty-something (quickly approaching my dirty-thirty) thirty-year-old, new mother and working professional Stay At Home Mom (SAHM).

Not the most flattering picture- but often what I look like (passionately speaking with my hands)

My husband (A) is a real life Prince Charming and the most amazing man and father I’ve ever met.  A is a Financial Analyst who also had a 4 month stint as a Stay At Home Dad.

Melts. My. Heart

We finalized the adoption of our daughter on July 20th, 2011 just 9 days before her 4 month-day.  We were led to adoption after dealing with infertility struggles, and feeling a calling in our hearts from the Lord.  God is faithful and brought her to us, and we could not be more thankful.

A & I also love going to Disneyland.  Living in a desert only a few hours away, we have easy access to the park and can’t wait to bring E for the very first time.  Volunteering is another passion of mine, and I’m so grateful to work with some amazing women and young girls on a weekly basis.

Recently we decided to start planning to adopt baby number 2 (AKA T#4).  We plan on venturing into International Adoption this time, adopting from Colombia!  Because we were planning on adopting from Colombia before they closed their International Program, we are now seeking guidance from the Lord on when and where (and if) there should be a 2nd baby.

Thanks for embarking on our journey with us!  If you have any questions just ask!

Until then-

Jenn- I just spent about an hour reading your posts on adopting your beautiful little girl. I can relate to your story very closely. My husband and I have struggled with IF for two years and recently have been lead towards adoption. I just wanted to thank you so much for sharing your story and experiences. You’re a great Mom!

Hi Jenn, I have been reading your posts about adoption. My husband and I are in the middle of a possible adoption. My cousin contacted and me and asked us if we could consider adopting her unborn baby. She is almost 7 months along and hasn’t been to the DR except in the beginning to confirm that she is pregnant. We too have turned to the Lord to help us make this decision. We feel this is our child but worry that she may not follow through. It is also a big concern that it will be a open adoption. She has not told her immediate family that she is even pregnant.
I just wanted to reach out to someone who has been through a similiar experience and thank you for sharing your story. It helps!!
